In its fourth year the MATES in Construction Kokoda trek has raised over $128,500 adding to the over half a million already raised for suicide prevention in the construction industry across Australia.
These amazing 25 trekkers took on their Kokoda adventure with complete enthusiasm and flew the flag for the MATES charity as they battled the muddy terrain that is the Papua New Guinea, Kokoda Track. They had the privilege of standing in history 75 years on from the Kokoda campaign and getting a first hand insight into the harsh environment our diggers faced in 1942.
A massive congratulations to our 2017 MIC Kokoda trekkers who have changed the lives of construction workers and their families.
