Join our outback team as we trek, canoe, fish, horse ride, swim, and abseil our way around the top of our ‘Big Brown Land’. This is a quintessentially Australian adventure filled with beauty, majesty, challenge and reward that you must add to your list of things to do.

DAY 1 – Depart Brisbane and travel to Darwin and through to Kununurra. On arrival we will undertake our pre-trek briefing and prepare for our adventure start the following day.
DAY 2 – Today we have an early start as hike to Explosion Gorge where we meet up with our canoes. From here we paddle, walk and carry ourselves, packs and our canoes up through Chamberlain Gorge before camping under the stars on a rock face that evening.
DAY 3 – Today some more paddling, and more fishing as we make our way through this amazing gorge. Its is a truly breathtaking experience. We are then hit the track to our base that afternoon for a rest and hopefully to cook up our freshly caught Barramundi.
DAY 4 – Today we do some horse riding before heading out to explore another gorge by foot and for an afternoon swim before hitting out night location.
DAY 5 – This is the start of our exploration of the Cockburn ranges and surrounding gorges. We travel by helicopter and then hike to our night location. We take in some practice abseils this afternoon to ensure we’re ready for the following few days.
DAY 6 – After trekking to our first Abseil spot we undertake 2 amazing abseils that will have the adrenalin pumping. That night we camp at the window awaiting our final abseil the following morning.
DAY 7 – This morning we abseil Emma Gorge and then trek out through the spectacular terrain. We meet up with our transfer back to Kununurra and our flight back to Darwin where we overnight.
DAY 8 – Return to Brisbane.

□Return economy airfare from Darwin to Kununurra
□All accommodation and set meals in the Kimberley homestead on a twin share basis*.
□Personal travel insurance.
□Charter helicopter to the Cockburn Ranges
□All transfers and transport into and from Kununurra
□Accommodation and food during the trek hutchie or bush camp.
□Personal camping and cooking equipment.
□Accommodation on the final night and celebration dinner in Darwin.

*Trekkers also have the option of upgrading flights or staying in single accommodation at the Station. We can advise the extra costs associated with these options at the time of booking.
